Broadcaster Kim Soo-yong claimed to have experienced the afterlife while in a state of cardiac arrest. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Jo Dongari' on the 21st, Kim Soo-yong talked about his experience with cardiac arrest. The video, titled "What Did Kim Soo-yong See During 20 Minutes of Cardiac Arrest?", included discussions about Kim Soo-yong's health issues and the afterlife.

In the video, history storyteller Sun Kim mentioned the possibility of ghosts and the afterlife, saying, "When a person dies and their weight is measured, there is a difference of a few grams between when they were alive and at the time of death, so some forensic scientists say this is the weight of the soul." Sun Kim added, "I haven't died, so I don't know, but I think it exists." In response, Kim Soo-yong said, "I know because I have died." When Ji Seok-jin asked, "Do you remember that time?" Kim Soo-yong replied, "I will talk about it later. It's too long to explain now."

On the 13th of last month, Kim Soo-yong suddenly collapsed while filming YouTube content in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. As a result, he went into cardiac arrest and was transported to the emergency room. Kim Sook, Lim Hyung-jun, and the staff present at the scene immediately performed CPR and emergency response. Even after the 119 paramedics arrived, Kim Soo-yong's heartbeat did not return for some time. He dramatically regained consciousness in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Kim Soo-yong was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and subsequently underwent angioplasty. He is currently recovering his health. Medical staff and those involved at the scene explained that the prompt initial response was a decisive factor in saving Kim Soo-yong's life.
