BTS leader RM publicly expressed his disappointment with HYBE. On the 21st, BTS held a live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse. All seven members, including RM, participated in the broadcast. BTS is preparing for a comeback aimed for next spring and emphasized that "2026 will be BTS's year." BTS members began their military service at the end of 2022, and after Jin was discharged in June 2024, all members, including Suga who served as a social service worker, completed their military service by June this year. Accordingly, BTS's "military hiatus" has ended. However, BTS did not engage in group activities this year.
During the broadcast, when Jimin said, "These times are painful," RM mentioned HYBE, saying, "I wish our company showed us a little more affection." When J-Hope asked, "Why, why? For what reason?" RM replied, "I don't usually say things like this," and added, "I just wish they would embrace us a little more."
On a live broadcast on the 16th, RM also expressed dissatisfaction with the comeback preparations, saying, "I really hate this year-end." He clearly demanded from HYBE, "But I can't say anything yet. I can't say how far along the comeback preparations are... When will the company announce it? This is really driving me crazy. HYBE, please announce it soon."
Additionally, during a solo Weverse live broadcast on the 6th, RM said, "There were many times when the team was in a situation where it might have to stop. Should we disband the team? Should we pause? I thought about it tens of thousands of times." He drew attention by saying, "People ask why we spent the second half of this year doing nothing, but we didn't want to waste time either. However, there are things I can't say."
BTS is preparing for a comeback aimed for next spring and plans to continue communicating with fans. Fans are looking forward to BTS's comeback, and interest in the members' activities is increasing. BTS's future plans will be confirmed through an official announcement from HYBE.
