This activity marked the beginning of their full-scale local approach after signing a management contract with Modern Sky, China's largest original music company, and received a warm response from the day they arrived.
A large number of fans gathered at Shanghai Airport to welcome NEWBEAT. This caused the group to trend on Weibo, China's largest social media platform, attracting significant attention. On December 14, NEWBEAT held their first showcase, "The First Beat," in Shanghai and met with local fans. During the event, the members premiered the performance video of the Chinese version of their previously released digital single "Cappuccino." They impressed local fans by communicating fluently in Chinese.
At the showcase, NEWBEAT offered various attractions, including the release of the choreography video for the double title track "Look So Good" from their first mini-album. Additionally, the "One-Day Manager" event in collaboration with a famous Shanghai café brand drew a crowd beyond expectations, demonstrating NEWBEAT's explosive popularity.
NEWBEAT traveled between Beijing and Shanghai to complete recording new Chinese songs. Previously, NEWBEAT achieved significant results on global charts with their first mini-album "LOUDER THAN EVER," released in November. In particular, "Look So Good" sparked a reverse surge by ranking first in six categories, including "International Best Sellers," on Amazon Music in the United States. These achievements demonstrate NEWBEAT's unstoppable momentum as they target both North America and Asia simultaneously, solidifying their global fanbase.
