The '2025 MBC Drama Awards' will air at 8:50 PM on December 30th. Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop are the leads of the drama 'In Your Brilliant Season,' which deals with a fateful romance. The two actors will showcase their first collaboration as presenters.

IU and Byun Woo-seok will appear together on stage as the leads of the highly anticipated early 2026 drama '21st Century Grand Lady.' IU is an artist recognized in both music and acting, while Byun Woo-seok has established himself as a leading actor with his popularity from the drama 'Seonjae Upgo Twieo.'

Shin Ha-kyun and Heo Sung-tae co-star as a male duo in the drama 'Fifty Percent,' and their unique chemistry is also highly anticipated. Shin Ha-kyun demonstrates exceptional ability in portraying his characters, while Heo Sung-tae is noted for his charisma and unexpected charm.

MBC has not produced a clear "killer content" amid competition from global OTT platforms. Some works, despite their high quality, were evaluated as failing to gain popularity.

The biggest focus of the '2025 MBC Drama Awards' is the Grand Prize winner. Since there was no overwhelmingly successful drama this year, it is highly likely that a safe choice based on acting skills and originality of the material will be made.
