Singer Kim Jang-hoon apologized for exposing the face of a non-celebrity bride without permission at the wedding of Mir (real name Bang Cheol-yong) from the group MBLAQ. On the 22nd, Kim Jang-hoon posted an apology message on his social media.

Kim Jang-hoon stated, "I offer my apologies regarding the wedding video of Bang Cheol-yong." He explained, "I attended the wedding on the 21st, sang 'Highway Romance' during the second part of the celebration, and posted a video of the bride and groom's exit. I never imagined it would be considered an unofficial video."

He added, "I was completely unaware that it was unofficial until I heard from my manager that I appeared in the news, so I quickly took down the video, but by then it had already spread widely." Kim Jang-hoon expressed regret, saying, "Not knowing this, I even spoke with Cheol-yong's family, saying 'It ended so well,' so I am extremely ashamed."

Kim Jang-hoon said, "Since my return, I have been very careful not to cause any controversy, but I acted disgracefully and did not live up to my age. I am very ashamed and sorry. I deserve to be criticized and blamed." He emphasized, "From now on, I will look into everything more obsessively, verify, and think carefully to do my best to prevent such incidents."

The wedding took place on the 21st at a location in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, with a non-celebrity partner. Kim Jang-hoon posted the wedding video on social media as a congratulatory gesture, but controversy arose because the face of the non-celebrity bride was exposed in the video.

Kim Jang-hoon expressed particular remorse, saying, "I am especially sorry because (Go) Eun-ah (real name Bang Hyo-jin), Cheol-yong, Eun-ah's older sister, and mother have been like family to me." He reiterated his apology, stating, "From today, I will regain my composure and reflect on myself with the humblest attitude."

Previously, singer Insooni made a similar mistake. Insooni attended the wedding of broadcaster Kim Jong-min in April and exposed the face of the non-celebrity bride. Afterwards, Insooni acknowledged the mistake and apologized, saying, "I did not know the wedding of my dear junior was being held unofficially."
