In JTBC's variety show 'Sing Again 4,' Choi Jung-cheol and Gong Won were selected as elimination candidates. In the semi-final Top 7 decision match aired on the 23rd, the two contestants competed against each other.

After the match, Gong Won said in an interview, "It was a formal process as they quickly made the decision. I would have chosen Choi Jung-cheol too. I decided to think of it as a good thing and strengthened my determination." He also mentioned about Choi Jung-cheol, "It would be good for him to experience the revival round as well."

Lee Seung-gi asked Choi Jung-cheol, "You mentioned a temporary retirement." Choi Jung-cheol replied, "If I hadn't challenged 'Sing Again,' it wouldn't have happened. I'm very grateful for the challenge and want to praise myself."

Gong Won shared his part-time job experience, saying, "Customers said I was their favorite. I couldn't greet them because I was wearing a mask, but I gave them plenty of salted shrimp."

Lee Seung-gi said, "While hosting the stage and looking at the audience, I saw a sign that said 'Let's meet at Gong Won,'" expressing admiration, "'Sing Again' has discovered a gem."

The two contestants ended in a 4-4 tie, and as a result of the judges' meeting, no one was selected to advance. Choi Jung-cheol and Gong Won will proceed directly to the revival round.
