Seventeen surpasses 50 million streams in Japan... earns 'Gold' certification

The idol group SEVENTEEN has added a streaming certification from the Japan Record Association. According to the Japan Record Association on the 23rd, SEVENTEEN's "Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow- (今 -明日 世界が終わっても-/Ima -Asu Sekai ga Owatte mo-)" exceeded 50 million cumulative streams as of last November, earning a "Gold" certification in the streaming category. The Japan Record Association grants monthly certifications based on the cumulative number of streams, categorized as Gold (over 50 million), Platinum (over 100 million), and Diamond (over 500 million).

SEVENTEEN now holds a total of 18 streaming-certified songs, including two Platinum certifications. "Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-" is an impressive song that harmonizes guitar melodies with lyrical tunes, composed by member Woozi, producer Bumzu, and Hwang Hyun. SEVENTEEN's Japanese best album "ALWAYS YOURS," which includes this song, surpassed 750,000 cumulative shipments at the time of release and received a "Triple Platinum" certification in the Gold Disc category from the Japan Record Association.

SEVENTEEN continues to enjoy strong popularity in Japan. Approximately 420,000 fans attended the "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN JAPAN," held 10 times across the four major domes recently. They included multiple albums, including their 5th full-length album, in Oricon's "Annual Ranking 2025 (counting period from December 23, 2024, to December 15, 2025)." This result proves SEVENTEEN's powerful album sales strength.

Additionally, SEVENTEEN's voices can be heard in Part 2 of the popular Japanese anime , which is exclusively released globally through Netflix. Their new song "Tiny Light" is featured as the ending theme of this work. Woozi participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of this song, infusing it with their unique energy.

By receiving additional certifications from the Japan Record Association, SEVENTEEN is further expanding their musical influence. The Gold certification of "Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-" is regarded as another example emphasizing SEVENTEEN's global popularity and musical achievements. They plan to continue communicating with fans through various musical activities in the future.
