Seventeen Sweeps Billboard K-Pop Chart from 1st to 13th... "This Is What a Decade of Experience Looks Like"

The group SEVENTEEN marked their 10th anniversary since debut by setting a record that will be remembered in K-pop history. Through both group and unit activities, SEVENTEEN secured both musicality and popularity, solidifying their position as a "Super IDOL."

On December 23, SEVENTEEN achieved the highest ranking on the "2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100." They dominated the rankings from 1st to 13th place, being recognized as the most influential K-pop group. Billboard stated, "Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, they are enjoying their prime and have further solidified their position as one of the most influential K-pop groups." The "2025 Billboard K-pop Artist 100" ranks artists by combining data from the Billboard 200, Hot 100, Global 200, Billboard Boxscore, as well as domestic streaming and album sales.

In November, SEVENTEEN placed their 5th full-length album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, which sold nearly 3 million copies according to Circle Chart, at number 2 on the Billboard 200. The title track "THUNDER" ranked number 1 on domestic music charts and entered the Global 200 chart for four consecutive weeks.

SEVENTEEN's presence was also prominent in the concert market. They held 38 performances across major cities in Korea, Japan, North America, and Asia, captivating over 1.26 million attendees throughout the year. They demonstrated strong ticket power not only in concerts but also in large stadium fan meetings. These achievements contributed to HYBE entering the "Big 4" in the Top Promoters category of Billboard's annual Boxscore, powered by SEVENTEEN and their agency Pledis Entertainment.

SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop artist to hold a solo stage at the Jamsu Bridge in Seoul. This performance was part of the "B-DAY PARTY" held on May 25, attracting about 206,000 visitors in one day. The concert was live-streamed online, connecting fans from over 193 countries and regions worldwide. From May 23 to 25, the "B-DAY PARTY" at Sebitseom in Seoul drew more than 352,000 visitors. The HYBE building's exterior was wrapped with the message "SEVENTEEN WILL CHALLENGE ETERNITY," and major bridges over the Han River were lit in SEVENTEEN's signature colors, turning all of Seoul into a vibrant celebration of their 10th anniversary.

To commemorate their 10th anniversary, SEVENTEEN released a total of four albums this year, including their 5th full-length album, the BSS (BooSeokSoon) 2nd single TELEPARTY, the Hoshi x Woozi 1st single BEAM, and the S.Coups x Mingyu mini album HYPE VIBES. BSS topped album and digital charts upon their comeback, Hoshi x Woozi attracted about 100,000 attendees to their fan concert, and S.Coups x Mingyu set the record for the highest first-week sales for a K-pop unit album. Their distinct personalities and talents raised expectations for SEVENTEEN's limitless expansion.

SEVENTEEN will continue their active promotions next year. Team members and "Meboz" DK and Seungkwan will release their mini album SOYAGOK on January 12, bringing winter emotions to listeners. Following that, in February and March, SEVENTEEN will showcase their skills as "performance masters" by holding the SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA at large stadiums in four Asian cities.
