Taemin, a member of the group SHINee and a solo artist, successfully concluded his Japan arena tour. Taemin held the "2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR Veil" at GLION ARENA KOBE in Hyogo Prefecture on December 24 and 25. This tour marked the final schedule of the approximately four-month-long arena tour, showcasing Taemin's unique performances and production.
The arena tour was themed "Veil," based on a worldview exploring the boundary between good and evil. Taemin toured five regions in total—Kanagawa, Saga, Shizuoka, Chiba, and Hyogo—leaving a strong impression on the audience. Notably, this was his first solo arena tour in Japan in about five years, raising high expectations among fans.
Taemin captivated the audience by opening the performance with "Heaven." Various songs, including the new track "Veil," were performed. Intense stages such as "Bones," "Advice+IDEA," and "Shadow" heightened the excitement at the venue. Additionally, dark concept stages like "Guess Who" and "Criminal" drew the audience deeper into the performance.
Taemin mesmerized the crowd with graceful performances and delicate vocals in songs like "Exclusive," "Door," and "Flame Of Love." The stages of songs released in Japan, such as "Into The Rhythm," "Tease," and "Famous," further elevated the energy in the venue. The audience responded with standing ovations and cheers to Taemin's explosive energy.
Especially when "Mars" echoed throughout the performance, Taemin moved across the stage, interacting with fans. Responding to encore requests, Taemin returned to the stage and decorated the encore with "Move" and "Holy Water," leaving a deep impression. In his final remarks about the tour, he said, "I was happy to share the 'Veil' concert with you all, and thanks to the love you give me, I believe I can keep moving forward. Please wait until the day we meet again." He concluded the four-month tour with the final song "FINALE."
This arena tour reaffirmed Taemin's influence in Japan. Especially during the Saga Prefecture performance, as part of a local government project, Taemin's posters were displayed at major stations and busy streets, and a gourmet map for fans was created, receiving exceptional hospitality. Taemin proved his unique status as the first K-pop artist to have a wrapped bus in operation.
Moreover, Taemin introduced a live band session during this tour, enhancing the sense of presence and completeness. This was seen as an example of his growth as an artist. Taemin ended the year spectacularly with the arena tour and will continue his activities in the United States next year.
Taemin is scheduled to appear at the "2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival," the largest music festival in the U.S., held in April 2026. Prior to that, he will hold a solo concert in Las Vegas on January 16 and appear on the Grammy Museum's "Global Spin Live" on the 20th. These are important events accelerating Taemin's global activities.
