The second episode, aired on December 25, recorded a nationwide rating of 14%, marking a 3.2 percentage point increase from the previous week. This achievement secured first place for two consecutive weeks across all daily programs on all channels, first place in the same time slot across all channels, first place among daily general programming and cable channels, and first place among Thursday variety shows. The peak rating moment reached 14.8%.
This broadcast revealed the master preliminary screening scene, capturing viewers' attention with the participants' outstanding skills. Jeong Yeon-woo, the 2025 Miss Korea winner, appeared in Workplace Division B, delivering a stable vocal performance of Shin Yu's "Flower Water," earning 15 hearts and a provisional pass. Thirteen-year veteran actress Lee El-ya also drew attention. She passionately sang Na Ye-won's "The Heart Knows" with a deep voice, earning all hearts. Kim Geum-hee, mother of trot resilient star Heo Chan-mi, performed Noh Sa-yeon's "Wish" with a unique singing style, earning all hearts. This moved the main masters deeply. Noh Sa-bong, Noh Sa-yeon's elder sister, showcased her addictive charm with her song "Life is La La La," receiving 19 hearts.
Jang Hye-ri from Active Division A combined bass playing with trot in her performance of "To the DJ," earning all hearts amid praise for her "wildness and charisma." Lee So-na, voted the most anticipated participant by the contestants, performed "Crying Over Bakdaljae" with brilliant fundamentals, earning all hearts.
Yoon Tae-hwa presented a special stage by powerfully recreating "Danhyeon," earning heartfelt applause. During the master preliminary screening, Heo Chan-mi and her mother Kim Geum-hee both received all hearts simultaneously in the waiting room, creating the first miracle of mother and daughter passing the master preliminary screening together.
Veteran participant Yoo-mi delivered a majestic performance of Kim Soo-chul's "Byeolri," receiving applause, while Jeok-woo, who sang Cho Yong-pil's "Woman Outside the Window," captivated viewers by returning to the stage after a 15-year hiatus.
