MBC-TV's "Hangout with Yoo?" continues to spread warm kindness through donations at the end of 2025. The program donates a total of 306 million won, which is raised from profits of additional businesses such as music sales and merchandise. The donations are used to support vulnerable groups. The cast and production team jointly selected the donation recipients, and funds are delivered to a total of 10 organizations.
The donation recipients include Anna's House, Community Chest of Korea, Miracle Welfare Foundation, Dongbang Social Welfare Society, and Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation. In addition, donations are also provided to institutions in need such as Severance Children's Hospital, Seoul National University Children's Hospital, Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, Love Snail, and Bapsang Community Briquette Bank. The production team stated, "It is meaningful to turn the love we received from viewers this year into a significant sharing. We will do our best to continue delivering laughter and warmth in the new year."
The donations from "Hangout with Yoo?" have continued for seven years this year. The program has maintained donation activities since 2019. The donation recipients vary, including free meal support projects, music prodigy support, and UNICEF. An official emphasized, "'Hangout with Yoo?' shares the love received from viewers throughout society. It is creating a warm example of giving back that a variety show can achieve."
This year, the program maintains the number one spot in Saturday variety shows in the "2049 viewership rating." It was also named in the Variety category of the "Program of the Year" award selected by the Korea Advertisers Association. In particular, "80s Seoul Music Festival," where Yoo Jae-suk transformed into a PD, revived the romance and emotions of that era, capturing both high ratings and public attention. The program recorded its highest-ever viewership rating of 7.3% based on the metropolitan area.
The "80s Seoul Music Festival" featured performances by actor Lee Jun-young, singers Lee Juck, Choi Yuri, Yoon Do-hyun, Mamamoo's Solar, IVE's Liz, WOODS, Park Young-gyu, Ha Dong-kyun, Choi Jung-hoon, Park Myung-soo, Lee Yong-jin & LALAL, Song Eun-yi & Kim Sook, and DinDin.
"Insamo" (Meeting of Unpopular People) is heating up the year-end.
