On December 25, Hyunjin expressed his gratitude to Felix, a fellow Stray Kids member, through the fan communication platform Bubble, saying, "If it weren't for Yongbok (Felix's Korean name), I would have almost gone home crying today." He added, "The earring fell off during the stage, but thank you for finding it."

Stray Kids, which Hyunjin is part of, appeared as a full group at SBS's 'Gayo Daejeon' held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, on the same day. Although Stray Kids delivered a powerful performance on stage, after the show, an incident occurred where an earring worth approximately 80 million KRW from Cartier was lost. Towards the end of the event, during the time when all performers greeted the audience, Hyunjin began searching for the earring with the other members.

The first member to find the earring was Felix. Fans were captivated by the scene of Hyunjin hugging Felix tightly to show his thanks. At this year's 'Gayo Daejeon,' Ive's An Yujin, Day6's Young K, and NCT's Jaemin served as MCs. Additionally, various artists such as Enhypen, ATEEZ, and Tomorrow X Together took the stage to perform hit songs and limited edition cover stages.

The earring Hyunjin lost is a luxury piece set with white gold, diamonds, emeralds, and onyx, listed on the official website at a price of 80.5 million KRW. Fans shared photos of the earring Hyunjin wore on the red carpet, reacting with comments like, "That's the earring," and "It would have been a big problem if it was lost on stage."

Meanwhile, Stray Kids ranked 130th on the Billboard 200, the main Billboard album chart, on the issue dated December 27, marking their 17th consecutive week on the chart. This is the team's longest streak on the Billboard 200 chart. Stray Kids is also scheduled to perform at the '2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon' on December 31.
