Actress Han Ji-an left a deep impression with her three-dimensional performance as Shin Ji-ah in the mid-form drama "Will You Be My Manager?" The drama was fully released up to the final sixth episode on the 26th through Wavve and Rakuten Viki.
Han Ji-an delicately portrayed the character Shin Ji-ah, who has a prickly yet vulnerable side. In episode 5, instead of clearing up misunderstandings with her friends, she accepted them and showed an even more prickly attitude, putting her relationship with her boyfriend Barun (played by Yang Jun-beom) in jeopardy. However, she revealed her wounded inner self by swallowing tears alone behind the scenes, increasing the drama's immersion. Later, through a chance event, the misunderstandings were resolved, and she restored her relationships with Barun and Hana (played by Nonomura Kanon), showing a more mature side.
In episode 6, she displayed her intelligence befitting the top student in school and confident determination. During a workshop, she answered a famous director's question clearly and received praise saying, "I'll see you on set." She completed a sweet chemistry with Barun as a couple full of excitement and added warmth by sharing sincere conversations with Hana, portraying friendship.
Han Ji-an stably handled the character's emotional line, proving her wide acting spectrum as an actress. With natural acting rhythm, she firmly established her presence.
Han Ji-an recalled that she enjoyed working with actors of her age during filming and remembered trying various ways to communicate with Kanon, who played Hana. She evaluated this drama as a gift-like work that encompasses youth's love, friendship, and growth, asking for much interest.
Han Ji-an debuted in the Netflix original series "Murderer's Dilemma" and left a strong impression despite brief appearances in "Dakgangjeong" and "The Witch." Recently, she made a special appearance in the drama "Running with Eun-jae" within "Your Taste," which became a hot topic on SNS. She is steadily building recognition and expanding her own filmography.
