Actor Nam Bo-ra shared the recent news of her large family of 13 siblings through KBS 2TV's "Shinsangchulsi Pyeonstorang." In the episode aired on the 26th, the scene of the Nam family sports day prepared by Nam Bo-ra was revealed. It has been 20 years since her parents and the 13 siblings appeared together since "Human Theater." The cheerful appearance of the large family conveyed the joy of living in a big family to the viewers.
Nam Bo-ra headed to the gymnasium with her mother, the creator of the 13 siblings, preparing large quantities of food. The family set up and served the food in an orderly manner like a Korean buffet. This scene created an atmosphere similar to a corporate MT lunch.
The broadcast also revealed the recent status of Nam Bo-ra's 13 siblings. The eldest brother, Nam Kyung-han, is pursuing a doctoral course in philosophy at Korea University and recently published a book. The seventh sibling, Nam Se-bin, joined the drama "Yumi's Cells 3." The third sibling, Nam Ji-na, caught a voice phishing scammer who stole 100 million won and received a letter of appreciation from the police.
The family sports day officially began. Nam Bo-ra prepared a prize of 1 million won for the winning team and one don of gold for the MVP. The family was divided into the mother's team and the father's team and competed in events such as tug-of-war, chicken fight, and relay race. There were moments that highlighted the individuality of the 13 siblings. Nam Kyung-han caused laughter with unintended physical comedy. His competitive spirit was ignited, even requesting video review in the middle of the game.
The "Pyeonstorang" family burst into laughter, saying, "Who knew someone else's family sports day could be this fun?" Nam Bo-ra said, "This video is something our family will watch over and over again." Chef Lee Yeon-bok admired, "This is the taste of living in a big family." The Nam family made the end of 2025 warm and cheerful.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Lee Yeon-bok, the head judge of "Pyeonstorang," attended the Korea Local Era Expo gourmet event held in Ulsan. He summoned Chinese cuisine masters for a project to promote local specialties. The "Bokvengers" were formed, and chefs with a combined experience of 150 years competed in a no-look knife skills contest. They completed 460 servings of Tongyeong oyster jjambbong and Jeju black pork Dongpo pork rice bowls. The Bokvengers' dishes received a hot response at the expo site.
Prime Minister Kim Min-seok and Kim Kyung-soo, chairman of the Local Era Committee, tasted the Bokvengers' dishes and praised them highly. "Pyeonstorang" exerts a "positive influence," such as donating menu sales proceeds to children suffering from food insecurity. "Shinsangchulsi Pyeonstorang" airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
