MONSTA X's Jooheon has intensified the excitement for his comeback with stylish concept photos. On December 27, Starship Entertainment released concept photos for Jooheon's second mini album '光 (INSANITY)', set to be released on January 5, through MONSTA X's official SNS.

In the released photos, Jooheon is portrayed as a passionate young man, either immersed in music work or lost in thought in his room. The combination of objects such as a keyboard, headphones, and bed with Jooheon's natural expressions conveys the moment when his pure dedication to music begins.

Additionally, other photos released show Jooheon exuding the aura of an artist on stage. Holding a microphone against the backdrop of lights and speakers, Jooheon stares intensely at the camera, dominating the stage. This contrasts with the earlier youthful image, symbolically representing the album's narrative where the impulse and passion of a young man first embracing music collide with the weight of an artist on stage, ultimately merging into one light.

Jooheon's new release '光 (INSANITY)' is his first solo album in about two years and eight months since his first mini album 'LIGHTS', released in May 2023. Through this album, Jooheon proves his solid capabilities as a rapper, singer, producer, and director, further establishing his unique musical world.

On December 22, Jooheon previewed his musical expansion by releasing the pre-release track 'Push (Feat. Lay of IVE)'. The tracklist has also been revealed, adding to the anticipation for his comeback. Jooheon participated in writing, composing, and producing all seven tracks on the album, enhancing its completeness and authenticity.

The album features collaborations with artists across genres and eras, including Lay, Tiger JK, and Muhammad Ali, raising expectations. In particular, the title track 'STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)' teases a feature from the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, sparking curiosity among music fans.

Jooheon's second mini album '光 (INSANITY)' will be released on January 5 at 6 PM (KST) on various online music platforms. Through this album, Jooheon plans to continue exploring new musical challenges and strengthen communication with his fans.
