It was revealed that Lee Si-an, the son of former soccer player Lee Dong-gook, sustained a facial injury. Lee Dong-gook's wife, Lee Soo-jin, shared the news of their son's injury and expressed her feelings through her social media account on the 28th. Lee Soo-jin said, "Is he in pain... I'm really in pain too. Raising five children, this is the first time something like this has happened, so I was momentarily stunned and my heart sank."

The released photo shows Si-an with a deep wound under his eye. Lee Soo-jin explained the situation at the time of the injury, saying, "He wasn't hurt while playing or playing soccer," and added, "Someone said it would be good to practice juggling with a tennis ball, so he hurried in to get the ball, but he pulled a door he wasn't supposed to open and hit his face on it."

Lee Soo-jin said she couldn't sleep because of her son's injury and kept recalling the scene, feeling upset. She added, "I'm worried about scars, but the child is worried about not being able to play soccer." She also shared the tense moment, saying, "The child, who trembles in fear even at a single injection in his arm, cried and screamed loudly when he had to get a local anesthetic injection on his face."

Si-an eventually received six stitches to treat the facial wound. Lee Soo-jin said, "After it was all over, he felt embarrassed, saying, 'It wasn't worth crying that much, I overreacted,'" and shared a warm family moment, saying, "Jae-si's older sister held his hand tightly until the end and stayed by his side, comforting him, which helped calm him down little by little."

Lee Dong-gook and Lee Soo-jin have one son and four daughters, and their youngest son, Si-an, is nurturing his dream of becoming a soccer player like his father. Si-an won first place at the '2024 Chungju Apple Cup National Youth Soccer Festival' and recently gained attention for passing the entrance test for the LA Galaxy youth team, a prestigious club in Major League Soccer in the United States.

Lee Soo-jin mentioned the interruption of her son's training due to the injury, saying, "It's vacation, but he can't go to training, so he's really become unemployed now." The family received much love after appearing on KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman.' Lee Dong-gook and Lee Soo-jin got married in 2005.
