Broadcaster Yoo Min-sang has joined SBS's variety show "My Ugly Duckling" as a new son. On the episode aired on the 28th, Yoo Min-sang's mother, Choi Young-ja, appeared in the studio and talked about her son. Yoo Min-sang currently weighs 130kg, and his mother revealed, "He started gaining weight since high school. I think he ate a lot while playing games."

Yoo Min-sang has struggled with obesity since high school. His mother expressed concern about his lifestyle, saying, "My son rapidly gained weight while playing games." Despite many of Yoo Min-sang's friends being married with children, Yoo Min-sang remains unmarried. When Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Don't you wonder why only our son hasn't gotten married yet?" Yoo Min-sang's mother said, "I think his self-esteem dropped because he suddenly gained weight. Most of my friends are already grandparents, but it's heartbreaking that only my son hasn't gotten married."

Yoo Min-sang was known for his huge appetite, once eating delivery jjajangmyeon in just 30 seconds and returning the bowl. During the broadcast, he was shown playing games at 4 a.m. while eating snacks and drinking soda, and ordering delivery of spicy stir-fried pork and two bowls of rice. Yoo Min-sang confessed that he is currently taking medication for high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, and cholesterol. Kim Jun-ho expressed surprise, saying, "Aren't those medicines for people over 60?"

When Kim Min-kyung asked worriedly, "Oppa, haven't you cured your high blood pressure yet?" Yoo Min-sang replied, "To control high blood pressure, I have to lose weight completely and start a new life. The doctor told me to lose weight down to 77kg." Yoo Min-sang needs to reduce his weight by half from 130kg. Kim Min-kyung asked, "Haven't you lost at least a few kilograms?" but Yoo Min-sang surprised everyone by pulling out a bag of his medications instead of answering. Yoo Min-sang's mother lamented, "Oh my, this is just unbelievable."

Additionally, Yoo Min-sang took his medication with soda, shocking the cast. Later, Kim Jun-ho, Yoo Min-sang, Kim Min-kyung, and Hong Yoon-hwa enjoyed cake and bread during dessert time after the meal. During the conversation, Yoo Min-sang burped and said, "I tried to keep up with you guys, but our abilities are different," complaining about indigestion. Kim Min-kyung showed a worried expression and asked, "Should I give you some digestive medicine?"
