Lee Chan-won offers a "Brilliant Day" in Daegu... 3 hours of passionate singing elicits cheers from the audience

Singer Lee Chan-won successfully concluded his solo concert in his hometown of Daegu. Lee Chan-won held the '2025-26 Lee Chan-won Concert - Changa: A Brilliant Day' Daegu performances over three days on December 25, 27, and 28 at EXCO East Hall 6 in Daegu. This concert marked his nationwide tour about a year after the 2024 Lee Chan-won Concert 'Changa,' which ran from June to December last year, and it was the second performance held in his hometown following Seoul.

Lee Chan-won delivered an approximately 3-hour and 24-minute stage filled with cheerful events and performances fitting for the Christmas and year-end season, along with a diverse song selection. The concert began with a grand band sound combined with lasers and lighting in a dazzling performance, and Lee Chan-won appeared on stage amid the audience's cheers. He raised the audience's expectations by singing "Today Somehow" and "Going to Meet You."

Expressing his feelings about performing in his hometown Daegu, Lee Chan-won greeted the audience warmly. He performed deeply emotional masterpieces such as Nam Jin's "Sangsahwa," Na Hoon-a's "I'm Leaving, Right?", Cho Yong-pil's "The Winter's Teahouse," and Lim Joo-ri's "Applying Lipstick Thickly," interpreting them with his unique vocal color and heating up the atmosphere in the venue.

He then presented a series of seasonally fitting songs, including "You and I Falling Like Leaves" from his new album "Brilliant," as well as "First Love," "Forgotten Love," "Paper Crane," and "October Poem," creating a serene yet warm mood. With "Mother's Spring Day" and "Flower-like Days," he delivered a cinematic emotional stage, and as the concert neared its end, he lifted the mood again by passionately singing "I Will Forget" and "Tess Hyung!"

The "Adult Sensibility Retro Medley" composed of "First Love," "New Love Hill," "Love," "Older Brother," and "You Are My Man" elevated the cheerfulness and excitement even further. After the medley, Lee Chan-won introduced each band member who performed with him that day, expressing his gratitude. He sang "Mother" with his warm voice in harmony with the deep and heavy daegeum melody played by the instrumentalist. The selections with traditional Korean music styles, "Three Rang" and "Jinttobaegi," brought the concert's energy to its peak.

Lee Chan-won delivered a heartfelt year-end greeting and promised to meet again at the next concert. He also took a group photo with the audience, leaving memories of the Daegu concert. He concluded the main performance with "Rock and Roll Life," a track from his new album featuring lively sounds, and responded to fans' encore requests by returning to the stage.

A special encore stage, only available during the year-end season, unfolded. Transforming into Santa for his fans, Lee Chan-won performed the "Carol Medley" consisting of "Don't Cry," "Jingle Bells," and "Feliz Navidad," creating a lively atmosphere. He then performed the "Year-End Party Popular Songs TOP 5" medley, including "Clock Hands," "Ja-ok," "Southbound Train," "By Chance," and "Apartment," engaging with the audience.

The concert continued with encore medleys ("Virgin Boatman," "Farewell Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"), second encore medleys ("How Old Am I," "Chupungnyeong," "Ugly Man," "Crying Over Bakdaljae," "Nest"), third encore medleys ("Don't Pick a Fight," "Naejangsan," "Today Is Youth," "Because I'm a Man"), and a fourth encore medley with the same song list as the first encore medley ("Virgin Boatman," "Farewell Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"), continuously delivering a rich performance like a second act of the concert, eliciting enthusiastic cheers.

In his final farewell, Lee Chan-won sang "Sijeol Inyeon (Seasonal Fate)" while warmly making eye contact with the audience, concluding the Daegu concert successfully. The '2025-26 Lee Chan-won Concert - Changa: A Brilliant Day' tour will continue to Incheon, Busan, Jinju, and other locations.
