Lee Chan-won passionately sang for 3 hours and 24 minutes at the Daegu concert... A 'Brilliant Day' with hometown fans

Singer Lee Chan-won successfully held a solo concert in his hometown, Daegu. Lee Chan-won held the '2025-26 Lee Chan-won Concert - Chan-ga: A Brilliant Day' Daegu performance at EXCO East Hall 6 in Daegu for three days on December 25th, 27th, and 28th. This concert was a nationwide tour about a year after the 2024 Lee Chan-won Concert 'Chan-ga,' which took place from June to December last year, and it was the second performance held in his hometown Daegu following Seoul.

Lee Chan-won presented a stage lasting approximately 3 hours and 24 minutes with cheerful events and performances fitting for the Christmas and year-end season, along with a diverse song selection. The concert began with a magnificent band sound combined with lasers and lighting, and the audience greeted Lee Chan-won with great cheers. He raised expectations with his sweet voice by singing "Today Somehow" and "Going to Meet You."

Lee Chan-won shared his thoughts about his hometown Daegu, his determination for the performance, and a warm greeting to the audience. He performed deeply emotional masterpieces such as Nam Jin's "Sangsa-hwa," Na Hoon-a's "I'm Leaving, Right?", Cho Yong-pil's "The Winter's Teahouse," and Lim Joo-ri's "Applying Lipstick Thickly," interpreting them with his unique vocal color and heating up the atmosphere of the venue.

He then consecutively delivered songs matching the season, including "You and I Falling Like Leaves" from his new album "Brilliant," as well as "First Love," "Forgotten Love," "Paper Crane," and "October Poem," creating a serene yet warm mood. With "Mom's Spring Day" and "Flower-like Day," he unfolded an emotional stage like a movie, and as the concert neared its end, he sang "I Will Forget" and "Tess Hyung!" passionately, revitalizing the atmosphere.

The "Adult Sensibility Retro Medley," consisting of "First Feeling," "New Love Hill," "Love," "Older Brother," and "You Are My Man," elevated the liveliness and excitement with its distinctive maturity. After the medley, Lee Chan-won introduced each band member who performed with him that day. He sang "Mother" with his warm voice in harmony with the deep and heavy daegeum melody played by the musician.

Selections with a traditional Korean music style, including "Three Rang" and "Jintto Baegi," led the excitement of the concert to its peak. Lee Chan-won delivered a warm year-end greeting and promised to meet again at the next performance. He also took a group photo with the audience, leaving memories of the Daegu concert.

He concluded the main performance with "Rock and Roll Life," a new album track featuring a lively sound, and responded to the fans' enthusiastic encore requests by returning to the stage. A special encore stage, only available during the year-end season, unfolded. Transforming into Santa for the fans, Lee Chan-won performed a "Carol Medley" consisting of "Don't Cry," "Jingle Bell," and "Feliz Navidad," creating a lively atmosphere.

He then performed the "Year-End Party Popular Songs TOP5" medley, including "Clock Hands," "Ja-ok-ah," "Southbound Train," "By Chance," and "Apartment," interacting with the audience. The concert continued with encore medleys ("Virgin Boatman," "Farewell Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"), double encore medleys ("How Old Am I," "Chupungnyeong," "Ugly Man," "Crying Over Bakdaljae," "Nest"), triple encore medleys ("Don't Tackle Me," "Naejangsan," "Today Is a Young Day," "Because I'm a Man"), and a quadruple encore medley with the same songs as the first encore medley ("Virgin Boatman," "Farewell Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"). This rich stage, like a second part of the concert, elicited enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

After delivering his final greeting, Lee Chan-won sang "Sijeol Inyeon (時節因緣)" and bid farewell to the audience with a warm eye contact. The Daegu concert ended successfully. Lee Chan-won's '2025-26 Lee Chan-won Concert - Chan-ga: A Brilliant Day' will continue to Incheon, Busan, Jinju, and other locations.
