The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute calculated the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for star brands through consumer behavior analysis based on 224,769,093 pieces of star brand big data measured from November 30 to December 30, 2025. In this analysis, the brand reputation index was recorded at 6,203,714, which is a 14.04% decrease compared to 7,216,605 in November.
Lim Young-woong's participation index was 628,419, media index 1,374,475, communication index 1,881,169, and community index 2,319,651. This indicates that Lim Young-woong still maintains high recognition among consumers. Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, evaluated, "The Lim Young-woong brand forms a strong bond by sharing joys and sorrows with the fandom 'Hero Era.'"
The number one star brand reputation in December 2025 was BTS. BTS's brand reputation index was 6,524,949, consisting of a participation index of 381,182, media index of 1,284,433, communication index of 2,294,630, and community index of 2,564,704. BTS's brand reputation index decreased by 34.17% from 9,911,692 in November.
In third place was actor Kim Woo-bin. Kim Woo-bin's brand reputation index was 4,597,529, with a participation index of 693,200, media index of 1,019,186, communication index of 1,835,448, and community index of 1,049,695. Kim Woo-bin recently received congratulations from fans after announcing his marriage to Shin Min-a. Shin Min-a ranked fourth, and IVE took fifth place.
In this analysis, star brand reputation big data increased by 1.01% from 222,526,874 in November. Detailed analysis showed that brand consumption rose by 19.73%, and brand issues increased by 11.28%. On the other hand, brand communication fell by 1.56%, and brand diffusion decreased by 8.94%.
The top 30 star brand reputations in December 2025 included BTS, Lim Young-woong, Kim Woo-bin, Shin Min-a, IVE, as well as Son Heung-min, BLACKPINK, Park Jung-min, Jun Hyun-moo, SEVENTEEN, Yoo Jae-suk, EXO, Kim Ha-sung, TWICE, Park Bo-gum, Lee Byung-hun, Kim Jong-kook, Choi Hyung-woo, BIGBANG, Shin Dong-yup, Park Jin-young, Lee Jung-jae, Lee Jung-hoo, Park Ji-hyun, Park Seo-joon, Kim Yoo-jung, Ryu Hyun-jin, Lee Je-hoon, Kang Min-ho, and Jang Ki-yong.
