Lee Chan-won passionately sang for three hours in his hometown Daegu... 'Brilliant Day' concert a huge success

Singer Lee Chan-won successfully concluded his solo concert in his hometown, Daegu. Lee Chan-won held his solo concert "Changa: A Brilliant Day" for three days on December 25th, 27th, and 28th at EXCO Donggwan Hall 6 in Daegu, meeting with his fans. This was his first nationwide tour in about a year since the 2024 Lee Chan-won concert "Changa," which ran from June to December last year, and it was the second concert held in his hometown Daegu following the one in Seoul.

Lee Chan-won created a rich stage lasting about 3 hours and 24 minutes with cheerful events and performances suitable for the Christmas and year-end season, along with a diverse selection of songs. The concert began with a magnificent band sound combined with lasers and lighting, and Lee Chan-won appeared on stage amid the audience's cheers. He raised expectations with his sweet voice singing "Today Somehow" and "Going to Meet You."

Expressing his feelings about visiting his hometown Daegu, Lee Chan-won shared his determination for the performance and greeted the audience warmly. He perfectly digested deeply emotional masterpieces such as Nam Jin's "Sangsa Flower," Na Hoon-a's "I'm Leaving, Right?", Cho Yong-pil's "The Winter's Teahouse," and Lim Ju-ri's "Applying Lipstick Thickly" with his own vocal color, heating up the atmosphere of the venue even more.

Lee Chan-won consecutively presented songs that matched the season, including "You and I Falling Like Leaves" from his new album "Brilliant," as well as "First Love," "Forgotten Love," "Paper Crane," and "October Poem," creating a serene yet warm mood. With "Mother's Spring Day" and "Flowering Days," he delivered an emotional stage like a movie, and as the concert neared its end, he revived the atmosphere energetically by passionately singing "I Will Forget" and "Tess Hyung!"

The "Mature Sensibility Retro Medley," consisting of "First Feeling," "New Love Hill," "Love," "Older Brother," and "You Are My Man," elevated the cheerfulness and excitement with its unique sophistication. After the medley, Lee Chan-won introduced each band member who performed with him that day. Then, accompanied by the deep and heavy daegeum melody played by the instrumentalist, he sang "Eome" with his warm voice. The selections with traditional Korean music styles, "Three Rang" and "Jinttobaegi," led the excitement of the concert to its peak.

Lee Chan-won sent warm year-end greetings and promised to meet again at the next concert, leaving memories of the Daegu concert by taking a group photo with the audience. He concluded the main performance with "Rock and Roll Life," a track from his new album featuring lively sounds, and responded to the fans' enthusiastic encore requests by returning to the stage.

A special encore stage, only available during the year-end season, unfolded. Transforming into Santa for his fans, Lee Chan-won performed a "Carol Medley" consisting of "Don't Cry," "Jingle Bell," and "Feliz Navidad," creating a lively atmosphere. He then performed the "Year-End Party Popular Songs TOP 5" medley, including "Clock Hands," "Ja-ok," "Southbound Train," "By Chance," and "Apartment," engaging with the audience.

The concert continued with encore medleys ("Virgin Boatman," "Goodbye Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"), second encore medleys ("How Old Am I," "Chupungnyeong," "Ugly Man," "Crying Over Bakdaljae," "Nest"), third encore medleys ("Don't Tackle Me," "Naejangsan," "Today Is the Young Day," "Because I'm a Man"), and a fourth encore medley with the same song list as the first encore medley ("Virgin Boatman," "Goodbye Busan Port," "Hiding Tears," "Island Village Teacher," "Soyanggang Virgin"), continuously delivering a rich performance like a second part of the concert, eliciting enthusiastic cheers.

Lee Chan-won gave his final greeting and bid farewell to the audience with a warm eye contact while singing "Sijeol Inyeon (Seasonal Fate)." "Changa: A Brilliant Day" will continue in Incheon, Busan, Jinju, and other locations.
