AKMU sings a congratulatory song at manager's wedding... YG CEO also brightens the event with his presence

AKMU members Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun attended the wedding of their manager who is leaving YG Entertainment, showing their loyalty. Lee Chan-hyuk congratulated the manager by singing a celebratory song at the wedding held on November 27 in Jinju, Gyeongnam. Lee Su-hyun and YG Entertainment CEO Yang Min-seok also attended the wedding.

The manager plans to establish a one-person agency independently along with AKMU. At the wedding, Lee Chan-hyuk performed "Endangered Love," accompanied by a saxophonist and a choreographer, creating a spectacular stage. This performance drew attention for its level, reminiscent of the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

News of AKMU's independence from YG Entertainment was revealed through an exclusive report by Xportsnews. AKMU decided to end their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment at the end of December and chose independence rather than transferring to another agency. They plan to establish an independent company with their long-time manager.

YG Entertainment released an official statement regarding the expiration of their exclusive contract with AKMU. YG stated, "About six months ago, Yang Hyun-suk, the executive producer, visited the home of AKMU members Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun and had dinner with them," adding, "After much consideration, AKMU decided to take on a new path."

Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun's attendance at the wedding is seen as an example of their loyalty. AKMU plans to explore new musical directions through their independent activities moving forward.
