
【The Fact|Reporter Lee Na-rae】Group CORTIS has claimed first place for five consecutive weeks on the New Star Ranking of the weekly idol ranking site FANNSTAR.
In the fourth week of December New Star Ranking vote, held from December 22 to 29, CORTIS secured the top spot with 199,105 votes. KickFlip followed in second place with 38,920 votes, while Close Your Eyes ranked third with 29,700 votes.
The New Star Ranking is a vote designed to select the most promising rookie idols who debuted in 2023. According to FANNSTAR, artists who rank first on the New Star Ranking for five consecutive weeks, with at least 2.5 million cumulative votes, will receive media wall advertising at Yongsan Station I’Park Mall in Seoul. Those who maintain the top position for ten consecutive weeks, with at least 5 million cumulative votes, will be promoted through M Screen advertisements at Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
In addition, regardless of ranking, all artists who reach certain voting milestones are eligible for special benefits. Artists who accumulate 10 million votes will receive billboard advertising at the Yujin Building in Yeouido; those who reach 30 million votes will be featured on the Future Plaza billboard at Hongdae Station; and artists who achieve 70 million votes will receive a horizontal billboard advertisement in Wangsimni, Seoul.
Along with the news of CORTIS’s first-place finish, fans who participated in the voting sent congratulatory messages through the official FANNSTAR message box. A fan with the nickname “Ttotorang” wrote, “Congratulations on five consecutive weeks at No. 1.”
