ATEEZ has continued its strong legal response against malicious comments and false online content, clearly reaffirming its commitment to prioritizing artist protection.
On the 30th, the group’s agency KQ Entertainment announced that it is pursuing legal action against acts that infringe on artists’ rights, including the spread of false information, malicious defamation, damage to reputation, and sexual harassment. These measures are being carried out based on fan reports and the company’s internal monitoring system.
According to the agency, several posts recently identified across domestic and international online communities and social media platforms have already been filed for legal action, with some cases entering the investigation stage. Any additional cases discovered will be addressed sequentially once sufficient evidence is secured.
KQ Entertainment emphasized that there will be no leniency or settlements, and that attempts to evade responsibility—such as deleting posts, changing accounts, or destroying evidence—will also be met with strict legal consequences.
The agency further warned that speculating on unverified information or spreading it through sharing, quoting, or reposting may also result in legal liability, as such actions can cause secondary harm to both artists and fans.
While noting that it is difficult to provide real-time updates due to the nature of legal procedures, the agency stated that further announcements will be made when possible. It reaffirmed its commitment to continuous monitoring and strong legal action, placing artist protection above all else.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ is scheduled to appear at the “2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon” on the 31st.
