Lee Chan-won revealed the story behind the creation of "Flowering Days" on a radio show. He explained that the song expresses his deep affection for his mother, who devoted and sacrificed herself for him. Based on his experience of going through the most blossoming days of life with his mother, Lee Chan-won created this song.
"Flowering Days," inspired by Lee Chan-won's love for his mother, was also performed at the Lee Chan-won concert "Changa: Brilliant Day."
