The group BTS has confirmed their comeback on March 20. This will be their first full-group album release in about 3 years and 9 months since the anthology album "Proof" released in June 2022. The comeback date was first revealed through a handwritten letter BTS sent to ARMY (their fandom).
To celebrate the new year, BTS sent handwritten letters to their fans. They expressed their gratitude and provided a hint about the comeback date by writing "2026.03.20" on the paper. The members continued communicating with fans through their individual messages. RM said, "I have waited more eagerly than anyone else," Jin said, "Thank you so much for waiting," Suga added, "Let's enjoy this year together as well. I love you," J-Hope said, "Finally, what we imagined is becoming reality!" Jimin said, "The year we meet has come," V said, "In 2026, we will make even more and better memories, so look forward to it!" Jungkook said, "I miss you! Please take good care of me this year as well."
This letter is a gift for ARMY who have maintained their global superfan membership on the Weverse platform and created memories with BTS over the past three years. Members who did not receive the physical letter can receive the same message on Weverse at the end of January. BTS prepared this letter to strengthen communication with their fans.
On the last day of 2025, BTS welcomed the new year with fans through a live broadcast on Weverse as a full group. They reflected on the past year and shared their wishes for the new year. They conveyed the message, "I hope we can safely make a comeback this year and that the album does well. Let's make BTS a huge success."
Meanwhile, BTS is planning a large-scale world tour following the new album release on March 20. Big Hit Music announced on the 1st, "Detailed information about the new album and performances will be released later on official channels." BTS's comeback and world tour are drawing great expectations from fans.
