Kwon Mina posts an appeal on SNS, saying "Goodbye... and I'm sorry"

Kwon Mina posted a lengthy message on her SNS on January 1st. Former AOA member Kwon Mina began with the phrase "Goodbye. And I'm sorry," expressing her pain. She mentioned, "You don't have to believe me, and you can curse me as much as you want," conveying her frustration over the situation she has endured.

Kwon Mina stated, "I was truly wronged in every incident and situation. I am so wronged that I still have dreams of the same scenes every day. It's painful." Based on her experience, she emphasized her suffering by saying, "If you haven't been in that situation, in that incident, different words come out and different rumors spread."

She explained, "I have neither material evidence, CCTV footage, nor recordings, so not only in that group incident but also as a victim of rape and injury for the past four years, the rape is acknowledged, but the injury cannot be proven." Kwon Mina mentioned that the perpetrator was acquitted in the first trial due to the statute of limitations and added, "Even if a witness testifies, there is practically no evidence."

Additionally, she candidly revealed her feelings by saying, "Everyone tells me that I ruined that group. That's right." Kwon Mina referred to it as "a ten-year revenge," expressing her rebellion against past oppression. She advised, "What I want to say is that evidence is really important in every situation. Always keep it, and don't live wronged."

At the end of her post, Kwon Mina expressed gratitude to her supporters, saying, "Thank you so much to everyone who cared for me, loved me, and treated me like a human being. And again, I'm sorry." She concluded with hope, stating, "I hope everyone continues to have a happy, joyful, harmonious family atmosphere and a long-lasting joyful life."

About two hours later, Kwon Mina posted again with a photo showing redness on her neck. She revealed that she had attempted an extreme act, writing, "When I hanged myself, I couldn't breathe, my vision blurred, and then I have no memory after that." Kwon Mina expressed severe pain, saying, "I lost consciousness... If I had been left a little longer, I could have really kept my promise today."

She described her current psychological pain, saying, "The prosecutor appealed the second trial, so I am waiting, but I don't know if I can endure it. They are not even human." Kwon Mina expressed a pessimistic view of her situation by stating, "The world is fair = hypothesis."

Kwon Mina debuted as an AOA member in 2012 and left the group in May 2019 to pursue acting. In July 2020, she caused a major stir by revealing that she had been bullied for over ten years by former AOA leader Jimin. Recently, she signed an exclusive contract with Modenberry Korea but terminated it by mutual agreement in less than a month.

Kwon Mina planned to release a new song after seven years since leaving AOA, collaborating with Hamin-gi on a carol, but this was also canceled. However, she is scheduled to hold her first solo fan meeting as planned next January.
