
According to the big data analysis of rookie idol group brand reputation in January 2026, TWS ranked first, ILLIT ranked second, and KiiiKiii ranked third. The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute collected a total of 10,157,074 brand big data related to rookie idol groups from December 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026. This is a 2.87% increase compared to the 9,873,579 collected in December.
The brand reputation index reflects the impact of consumers' online behavior on brand consumption. Through this, positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and consumer communication volume of rookie idol groups can be measured. This analysis was conducted in a combined brand category of boy groups and girl groups and included qualitative evaluations such as participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.
The top 30 rookie idol groups in brand reputation for January 2026 are as follows: TWS, ILLIT, KiiiKiii, Cortis, Baby Monster, Hearts to Hearts, X Love, Alpha Drive One, Izna, Kickflip, Ahop, Miyao, RIIZEnne, Cats Eye, Idit, Eunice, Eight, Artemis, Baby Don't Cry, Nexzi, Horizon, Nowadays, Say My Name, Supia, Genius, Lost, Close Your Eyes, Kiras, B-Boys, and A-One.
TWS, which ranked first, had a brand reputation index of 1,073,422, a 55.78% increase from 689,041 in December. TWS's participation index was 133,868, media index 194,946, communication index 349,982, and community index 394,627.
ILLIT, ranked second, had a brand reputation index of 1,033,591, a 75.04% increase from 590,496 in December. ILLIT's participation index was 136,514, media index 195,149, communication index 441,148, and community index 260,780.
KiiiKiii, ranked third, had a brand reputation index of 929,929, a 12.79% decrease from 1,066,320 in December. KiiiKiii's participation index was 151,009, media index 290,797, communication index 215,436, and community index 272,687.
Cortis, ranked fourth, had a brand reputation index of 921,943, a 6.17% decrease from 982,619 in December. Cortis's participation index was 246,078, media index 215,641, communication index 339,720, and community index 120,504.
Baby Monster, ranked fifth, had a brand reputation index of 668,909, a 16.63% increase from 573,549 in December. Baby Monster's participation index was 127,008, media index 172,995, communication index 226,711, and community index 142,195.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, "TWS ranked first in the rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for January 2026. The rookie idol group brand big data increased by 2.87% from 9,873,579. Detailed analysis showed that brand consumption decreased by 0.67%, brand issues increased by 8.29%, brand communication increased by 2.41%, and brand diffusion increased by 0.58%."
Director Koo also added, "In link analysis, the TWS brand showed high scores for 'warm,' 'romantic,' and 'cool,' and keyword analysis highlighted 'Angtal Challenge,' 'Broadcast Entertainment Awards,' and 'Japan performance.' The positive ratio was analyzed at 86.12%."
This analysis comprehensively evaluates the brand reputation of rookie idol groups, reflecting consumer and media interest. The brand reputation of rookie idol groups is expected to continue changing in the future.
