Byun Woo-seok explained that he decided to donate with the hope that female adolescents would fully secure their menstrual rights and live their daily lives without discomfort during their periods. The donation will be used to support menstrual kits consisting of sanitary pads in various sizes, heating pads, feminine cleansers, and more. Additionally, plans include sex education support and renovation of hygiene facilities (restrooms).
Byun Woo-seok said, "I joined this donation with the hope that vulnerable female adolescents in Korea will not suffer from issues related to sanitary products or hygiene facilities during their menstrual periods as we welcome the New Year. I hope that this year, vulnerable female adolescents can continue their daily lives in a more comfortable and stable environment."
