The group Forestella showcased a grand universe at their year-end concert. Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Jo Min-kyu, Go Woo-rim) held their 2025-26 solo concert "THE LEGACY" at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, on December 27 and 28. Go Woo-rim got married to Kim Yuna in October 2022 and started a family. "THE LEGACY" is Forestella's first performance featuring the concept of a "cinematic universe." This show encompasses a vast worldview from the birth of humanity to its golden age, apocalypse, and salvation. It provided an immersive experience akin to watching a grand movie rather than a simple concert. Forestella is building a solid narrative unique to the team through music and performance, and this fresh attempt received favorable reviews.
Forestella presented a newly arranged version connecting "Intro: Runes" and "Now We Are Free." They then depicted the history of Genesis with "Son of the Moon" and "Save Our Lives." Forestella's lyrical harmony combined with mystical and majestic staging captivated the audience's eyes and ears. Accompanied by a dancer's performance signaling the dawn of civilization, Forestella reappeared against the backdrop of a splendid festival symbolizing radiant history, expressing humanity's beautiful golden age.
The concert featured various songs such as "Deliver Us," "My Favorite Things," "Piano Man," and "Despacito," performed with the four members' enchanting voices and performances, heightening the excitement at the venue. Forestella portrayed the collapse of utopia and the descent into dystopia through "UTOPIA," "Snow Globe," "The Sound Of Silence," and "Parla piu piano."
After passing through a melancholic atmosphere, they depicted destruction and salvation with dramatic energy through "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Apocalypse," and "Lazenca, Save Us," giving the audience chills. The concert concluded with the live debut of the new song "Still Here" and the hopeful message of "For Life."
Following this, Forestella left a deep impression with encore performances of "In un'altra vita" and "We Are The Champions." Through this concert, Forestella once again proved their strength as the "crossover champions." Forestella will continue the "THE LEGACY" concert on January 17 and 18 at Daegu EXCO and on February 7 and 8 at Busan BEXCO next year. Additionally, Forestella is scheduled to perform a congratulatory stage at the "2025 KBS Drama Awards" on December 31.
