Actress Choi Yeo-jin clarified misunderstandings regarding her revealing photo shoot and dress choices. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Nopakku Tak Jae-hoon' on the 31st, Choi Yeo-jin candidly shared her thoughts under the title "Choi Yeo-jin, I'm sorry (I love) my body."

Choi Yeo-jin, a former model, had previously ranked first in the preliminary round of a supermodel competition held in Canada. She explained that she was eliminated in the finals due to "luck playing a role," mentioning the atmosphere in the broadcasting industry at the time where shorter models were in the spotlight. She reminisced, "In our generation, there were legends like Han Ye-sul, Han Ji-hye, So Yi-hyun, and Gong Hyun-joo."

Choi Yeo-jin also addressed the recently discussed underwear photo shoot. When asked if it was true that she did the shoot because she had a beautiful body but no one to show it to before marriage, she replied, "That's right." She expressed that after working hard to maintain her body and feeling that there was no one to appreciate it, she suddenly felt angry, thinking, "It would be a shame not to leave a record of what I have taken care of." She added, "The underwear photo shoot might be uncomfortable, but I wanted to capture it when I had the chance."

In the video, swimwear and underwear photo shoots were shown consecutively. Choi Yeo-jin stated, "I received many proposals for revealing photo shoots. There were particularly many swimwear shoots during my modeling days." Regarding the bold concepts, she explained, "It's just a provocative expression."

She also clarified the perception of being 'addicted to revealing' due to her dress at award ceremonies. She emphasized, "If I dress normally, I feel like I'm not pretty. I thought that dress was the best choice to appeal to my existence as 'Choi Yeo-jin.' It was bold, but I wanted to express myself authentically."

Choi Yeo-jin married a sports businessman seven years her senior last June. At the time of her marriage, she faced several suspicions regarding her past relationship with her husband. She joked, "Looking back, I realized I had been quite boastful. Since my boastful self didn't match with my current husband, I was trying to find a reason," adding, "I wish all those rumors were true."

Choi Yeo-jin expressed pride in her figure and shared personal stories related to her decision to shoot the underwear photo shoot. She maintains a positive perception of herself and stated that she will continue to make various attempts to express it.
