
The group Forestella presented a magnificent worldview at their year-end concert. Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Jo Min-kyu, Go Woo-rim) held their solo concert 'THE LEGACY' on December 27 and 28 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Go Woo-rim got married to Kim Yuna in October 2022, starting a family.
'THE LEGACY' is the first performance featuring Forestella's 'cinematic universe' concept. This concert encompasses a grand narrative from the birth of humanity to its golden age, end, and salvation. It provided an immersive experience akin to watching a magnificent film, going beyond a simple performance. The fresh attempt by Forestella to establish a firm narrative through music and performance received praise from the audience.
Forestella showcased a new arrangement connecting 'Intro: Runes' and 'Now We Are Free.' They continued with 'Son of the Moon' and 'Save Our Lives,' bringing the history of Genesis to life. The lyrical harmony and mystical, majestic production of Forestella captivated the eyes and ears of the audience.
Reappearing with a dancer's performance heralding the beginning of civilization, Forestella expressed humanity's most beautiful golden age against a backdrop of a grand festival. Various stages, including 'Deliver Us,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Piano Man,' and 'Despacito,' unfolded with the members' enchanting vocals and performances, heightening the excitement in the venue.
Through 'UTOPIA,' 'Snow Globe,' 'The Sound Of Silence,' and 'Parla piu piano,' Forestella unveiled the process of Utopia collapsing and descending into Dystopia. Transitioning through a somber atmosphere, they dramatically illustrated destruction and salvation with 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' 'Apocalypse,' and 'Lazenca, Save Us,' thrilling the audience.
The concert concluded with the live performance of the newly premiered song 'Still Here' and the hopeful message of 'For Life.' Afterward, Forestella left a lasting impression with encore songs 'In un'altra vita' and 'We Are The Champions.'
Through this concert, Forestella reaffirmed their status as the 'crossover powerhouse.' They will continue 'THE LEGACY' concert on January 17 and 18 in Daegu Exco, and on February 7 and 8 in Busan BEXCO. Additionally, Forestella is set to attend the '2025 KBS Drama Awards' on December 31, where they will perform a congratulatory stage.
