To celebrate the birthday of BTS V, fans adopted a bench engraved with V's name at the Trianon Gardens of the Palace of Versailles in France. V's global fanbase, V Union, along with 'Worldwide_KTH' and 'taehyungtuesday', announced this bench adoption project. This project has been in preparation for a long time to honor V's birthday.

The project involved fanbases from 13 countries, including V Inside, 'BTSV_JPN', 'BTSV_Malaysia', 'Australia4Tae', and 'BTSVSpain'. The Palace of Versailles is currently conducting a patronage campaign for the restoration of the garden's sculptures, benches, and trees. According to official correspondence from the Palace of Versailles, V is the first individual to be honored as part of a tribute to foreign artists or public figures since the Trianon campaign began in 2014.

This tribute was made possible through the Trianon bench adoption program, which is part of the official heritage sponsorship program of the Palace of Versailles. The Palace stated, "Everything in Trianon offers peace and tranquility. The Palace of Versailles runs the bench adoption program in the Trianon gardens to preserve this comfort. Adopting a bench allows for restoration and contributes to maintaining the unique relaxing atmosphere of the Trianon gardens."

There are 40 stone benches and 78 wooden benches placed in the Trianon Gardens. Among them, a stone bench has been adopted in V's name. A small plaque engraved with V's name 'KIM Taehyung' will be installed on the ground next to the adopted stone bench as a protective measure.

Fans chose the Palace of Versailles in Paris as a commemorative location for V. Paris is significant as it was the place where V began new activities by attending a fashion show as his first official schedule after returning from military service last year. Additionally, Versailles also holds meaning as the filming location for the 'Winter Ahead' music video released during his military service. The fans shared that they created a space in the Trianon of the Palace of Versailles in Paris to celebrate V's birthday against this backdrop.

V's name will be permanently preserved in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, a representative European landmark and UNESCO World Heritage site. Fans expressed that this bench commemorating V's birthday will be remembered by many.
