tvN celebrated its 20th anniversary by releasing a commemorative video, excluding "Queen of Tears." On January 1, the channel "tvN DRAMA" posted a video titled "[2026 tvN ID] Enjoyment is tvN." tvN stated, "Our twenty years, the countless joys we shared during that time. In 2026, look forward to an even more enjoyable 20th anniversary of tvN!"

The video starts with the phrase "Our twenty years, how was it for you?" and includes a scene from the drama "Goblin," where Gong Yoo says, "Every moment with you was dazzling." Next, the phrase "Enjoying together" appears. Following that, a scene from "Jumping with Sunjae" plays, where Byun Woo Seok mentions, "So let's live today. The weather is too nice." This scene features the phrase "Heart-pounding enjoyment."

The third scene shows "My Mister," where the late Lee Seon Kyun says, "I with you," and IU adds, "Thank you for treating me well." Along with this, the phrase "The joy of being my fan" is emphasized. The fourth scene comes from "Reply 1997," where Jung Eun Ji says, "The person I care about the most in the world is," and Seo In Guk responds, "Confirmed." Jung Eun Ji adds, "It's just you," and the phrase "The joy that makes me smile" appears.

The video was structured to provide an overview of tvN's history since 2016. However, scenes from "Queen of Tears," which holds the record for the highest viewership ratings at 24.9%, were excluded. "Crash Landing on You" follows with 21.7%, "Goblin" with 20.5%, "Reply 1988" with 18.8%, and "Mr. Sunshine" with 18.1%.

The exclusion of "Queen of Tears" from the video is believed to be related to issues surrounding Kim Soo Hyun's personal life. In March of last year, the late Kim Sae Ron's family claimed she dated Kim Soo Hyun, stating they had been in a relationship for six years from ages 15 to 21. Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, refuted this claim as "an obvious falsehood."

Following this, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference categorically denying the allegations and referred to the family's claims as "edited fake evidence." This controversy seems to have influenced the decision to exclude "Queen of Tears" from tvN's commemorative video.
