Actors Song Joong-ki and Park Ji-hyun are in talks to star together in the upcoming romance drama “Love Cloud.” Both sides have confirmed that they are positively reviewing the offer.

On the 5th, Park Ji-hyun’s agency, Namoo Actors, stated that she is considering the role in “Love Cloud,” while Song Joong-ki’s agency, HighZium Studio, also confirmed that he is reviewing the project.

“Love Cloud” tells the story of a former flight instructor and a former trainee pilot who reunite seven years later on the mystical island of Jeju—where even love becomes weather—this time as an air traffic controller and a pilot. The drama blends the unique setting of aviation with weather as a metaphor for emotions.

Park Ji-hyun has been offered the role of An Ha-ni, an airline first officer who knows only how to live diligently and falls in love at first sight with Kang Woo-joo. Song Joong-ki is considering the role of Kang Woo-joo, a former flight instructor who now works as an air traffic controller.

The drama will be directed by Song Min-yeop, known for “Doctor Prisoner” and “Youth of May,” with the screenplay written by Team Mad Rabbit. “Love Cloud” will mark the team’s debut work.

If confirmed, this project would reunite Song Joong-ki and Park Ji-hyun for the first time in four years since their collaboration in the 2022 JTBC hit drama “Reborn Rich,” raising expectations among viewers.
