KBS 2TV entertainment program '1 Night 2 Days Season 4' aired its first trip of the new year on the 4th, set against the backdrop of Chuncheon City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The broadcast recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 6.9% according to Nielsen Korea, maintaining its first place during the same time slot. Notably, during the scene where the members ate lunch including buckwheat noodles, the rating peaked at 11.5%.

To celebrate the first trip of 2026, the members gathered in suits in front of KBS in Yeouido. After revealing their new year plans, they unveiled a spinning wheel prepared by the production team. The wheel featured high-difficulty new year's plans such as 'Extreme Wilderness Deserted Island', 'Cold Winter Ground', 'Chilling Cold Snap', 'Open Sea Fishing', and '24-Hour Full Operation without Sleep'. There were also blank spaces, allowing members to manipulate their new year plans by obtaining pieces from the wheel through missions.

Before the trip began, a 'Relay Kick' mission was held, with one piece of the wheel and the right to decide the mode of transportation at stake. Although three opportunities were given, all members failed, and the five of them traveled to the destination by a small car.

At the rest area, a 'Telepathy Mission' where all members had to match the same answer was conducted. Lee Joon, Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho matched the same answer and came very close to success, but the round was invalidated due to the discovery of eavesdropping by the vehicle's audio equipment.

In the subsequent mission, the members acquired two pieces from the spinning wheel. They then moved to a speed karting track to carry out the 'Customer! Delivery has arrived' mission. Chefs Kim Jong-min and Moon Se-yoon transformed into 'Earthy Chefs' wearing aprons and cooking hats. The two prepared a toy hamburger set according to DinDin's order but failed the mission by missing ingredients.

DinDin expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, "They are frustrating. I can't understand what they are saying." Kim Jong-min and Moon Se-yoon also blamed DinDin, leading the mission to end in disaster. They also failed the subsequent rounds, missing additional opportunities to acquire pieces from the wheel.

Later, the '1 Night 2 Days' team moved to a restaurant to conduct a 'Look Out the Window' lucky draw mission, which involved lunch menus and three pieces from the spinning wheel. The members answered four out of five questions correctly, earning all three pieces from the wheel and four lunch menus.

Despite the harsh conditions of freezing weather and travel by small car, the members maintained a cheerful atmosphere as they began their first trip of 2026. '1 Night 2 Days Season 4' airs every Sunday at 6:10 PM.
