BTS started its promotion in Korea first. It fired the comeback signal at the Sejong Center in Seoul. BTS announced on January 5 that it engraved the team name, new album logo, release date, and more on the central stairs of the Sejong Center. The Sejong Center is one of the spaces that symbolize Korea's cultural arts.
Big Hit Music stated on January 6, "BTS has grown into a team that operates on the global stage starting from Korea." They added, "Since they are making a long-awaited comeback as a complete group, we began offline promotions in Korea, in the heart of Seoul, which is their cultural root." BTS revealed the new album logo for the first time through a handwritten letter sent to fans worldwide. Fans are speculating about the meaning behind the design.
BTS will continue its comeback promotions in major cities around the world. An official stated, "We plan to expand outdoor advertising to New York, Tokyo, London, and more." BTS will release its fifth full-length album on March 20. This marks the complete group's comeback after approximately 3 years and 9 months. The new album is expected to contain a total of 14 tracks. BTS described the album as "BTS's narrative and a message to fans."
After the release of the new album, BTS will kick off a large-scale world tour. This tour is the first in four years since the 'BTS Permission to Dance on Stage' held in Las Vegas, USA, in April 2022. BTS plans to announce the tour schedule on January 14 at midnight.
This comeback is expected to strengthen communication with fans and further expand the global fanbase. BTS aims to solidify its position in the global music market beyond Korea.
