
[The Fact | Reporter Choi Sujeong] BTS has claimed first place for 40 consecutive weeks on the group ranking of the weekly idol ranking site FANNSTAR.
In the fifth week of December FANNSTAR group ranking vote, held from December 29, 2025 to January 5, 2026, BTS secured first place with 3,299,318 votes. AHOF followed in second place with 389,219 votes, while Stray Kids ranked third with 258,016 votes.
According to FANNSTAR, artists who rank No.1 for 10 consecutive weeks in the group ranking are rewarded with a congratulatory video displayed on the horizontal LED billboard in Wangsimni, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. After 30 consecutive weeks at No.1, promotions are displayed on the Airport Railroad AM Board at Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. At 50 consecutive weeks, the achievement is announced via the Hongdae M Screen in Mapo-gu. Artists who maintain No.1 for 70 consecutive weeks are celebrated at Carlo’s in New York’s Times Square, while those reaching 100 consecutive weeks are honored through the media tower and panorama screen at Starfield Goyang.
Following the announcement of BTS’s No.1 ranking, fans who participated in the vote sent congratulatory messages through the official FANNSTAR message inbox. A fan with the nickname “HYBE Girl” commented, “BTS world tour, fighting!”
Meanwhile, FANNSTAR is a weekly idol ranking site operated by The Fact, offering idol voting and digital billboard support services. Known as a playground for fandoms, its group ranking, solo ranking, global hot star, news star ranking, and weekly music votes begin every Monday and are open to all idol fans.
