[The Fact | Reporter Choi Sujeong] CORTIS has ranked No.1 for six consecutive weeks on the New Star ranking of the weekly idol ranking site FANNSTAR.

In the fifth week of December New Star ranking vote on FANNSTAR, held from December 29, 2025 to January 5, 2026, CORTIS secured first place with 232,044 votes. KickFlip followed in second place with 58,950 votes, while UNIS ranked third with 52,186 votes.

The New Star ranking selects promising rookie idols who debuted after 2023. According to FANNSTAR, artists who rank No.1 for five consecutive weeks on the New Star ranking (with cumulative votes exceeding 2.5 million) are rewarded with media wall advertising at I’Park Mall near Yongsan Station in Seoul. Artists who maintain No.1 for ten consecutive weeks (with cumulative votes exceeding 5 million) are promoted via advertisements on the Hongdae M Screen in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

In addition, special rewards are granted to all artists who reach certain vote milestones regardless of ranking. Artists who reach 10 million cumulative votes are featured on the Eugene Building digital billboard in Yeouido; those reaching 30 million votes are displayed on the Mirae Plaza billboard at Hongdae Station; and those reaching 70 million votes receive a special feature on the horizontal LED billboard in Wangsimni, Seongdong-gu.

Following the announcement of CORTIS’s No.1 ranking, fans sent congratulatory messages through the official FANNSTAR message inbox. A fan with the nickname “Coreth” commented, “I love CORTIS.”
