Seventeen Bu Seung-kwan appears on 'Woopala Radio' even during his Japan tour... Tells Lee Ye-ji, "Think of me as your neighborhood oppa"

Boo Seung-kwan of Seventeen gave advice to Lee Ye-ji, the winner of 'Our Ballad,' on SBS entertainment program 'MumuXChaCha - Ubal Radio.' The first episode, aired on the 6th, was hosted by DJs Jeon Hyun-moo and Cha Tae-hyun, who introduced the stories of the 'Our Ballad' TOP12.

Boo Seung-kwan connected by phone from his tour in Fukuoka, Japan, to cheer for Lee Ye-ji's performance. He praised her vocal skills, saying, "When she first sang 'For You,' the impact was huge. It felt like it fit perfectly, and I cried along when senior Cha Tae-hyun cried. 'Nocturne' was also great. She expressed her own unique color, which inspired me."

Despite her confident appearance on stage, Lee Ye-ji showed nervousness and gave broken reactions, bringing laughter to the scene. Boo Seung-kwan, who is from Jeju, expressed affection, saying, "Coming up from Jeju to pursue a music career reminds me of when I first started music. I haven't contributed anything, but I find it admirable." He comforted the nervous Lee Ye-ji in Jeju dialect, saying, "Think of me as a local older brother," and advised, "You must be busy, so drink plenty of water and take good care of your voice," creating a warm atmosphere.

Regarding why he supports Lee Ye-ji, Boo Seung-kwan said, "Seeing her come up from Jeju and pursue music reminds me of when I started my music career," adding, "I haven't contributed anything, but I find it admirable." Lee Ye-ji shyly greeted him in response, and Boo Seung-kwan also shyly greeted back, causing laughter.

When Boo Seung-kwan asked Lee Ye-ji to sing a song of encouragement, she performed 'To You, Once Again,' which she sang in the third round. Boo Seung-kwan requested a rock ballad, and Lee Ye-ji passionately sang Cho Jang-hyuk's 'Addicted Love.'

The broadcast also featured the segment 'Stars' Phone Song Requests - Hello, It's Me.' Jeon Hyun-moo raised expectations by mentioning stars known as fans of 'Our Ballad.' The connected star was Boo Seung-kwan of Seventeen, who introduced himself as "Boo Seung-kwan of Seventeen, supporting Lee Ye-ji from Jeju." He expressed his fandom, saying, "Lee Ye-ji's 'For You' stage was so impactful at first. It felt like something hit me, and I was inspired."

As a native of Jeju, Boo Seung-kwan showed special affection for Lee Ye-ji. When asked, "Where is the star born in Sindori from?" he emphasized, "I'm from Ildo-dong, the city center of Jeju," adding, "I have pride in being from the city center even within Jeju," which brought laughter. Lee Ye-ji agreed, saying, "That's right. The city center and outskirts are a bit different. Ildo-dong is definitely the city center."

Boo Seung-kwan also asked Lee Ye-ji, "A ballad will be released in January, and I hope you will take on the challenge." Next, Cha Tae-hyun connected with singer Hwang Ga-ram, who topped the music charts with 'I Am a Firefly.' Hwang Ga-ram expressed being a fan of Lee Ji-hoon and said, "I've released about 60 albums. After that, I was loved for 'I Am a Firefly,' but hearing it in Ji-hoon's voice would be healing," making the request.
