The group Apink released their eleventh mini-album, "RE : LOVE," on January 5th. This album is their first new release in 2 years and 9 months since their tenth mini-album, "SELF," which came out in April 2023. "RE : LOVE" includes a total of five tracks, featuring the title song "Love Me More."

Apink appeared on SBS PowerFM's "Escape at 2PM Cultwo Show" broadcast on January 7th. On that day, Hwang Chi-yeul served as the special DJ, and Apink appeared as guests on the "Special Invitation" segment. When asked if there was any news to promote regarding their new song release, Kim Namjoo hesitated, saying, "Can we say this?" before announcing, "Our comeback is not the end; we will also hold a concert."

Regarding the concert date, Kim Namjoo mentioned "February." However, surprised by the staff's reaction, she added, "Oh, wasn't it not February? Anyway, it seems like it will be soon." Kim Namjoo emphasized, "We plan to focus on beloved hit songs," raising fans' expectations.

This album, "RE : LOVE," commemorates Apink's 15th anniversary since their debut. Apink has taken on new challenges, and among the tracks, "Fizzy Soda" is described by the members as "hip-hop attempted for the first time." Yoon Bomi showcased a new side by performing beatboxing and rapping on the spot.

When Kim Taekyun playfully asked, "Why did you perform live? I wanted to listen," Kim Namjoo replied, "Because Apink is known for live performances." Apink's ballad "Hold My Hand" is a fan song, and Jung Eunji revealed, "There are fan songs for every year of our debut. We give serenades as gifts every debut anniversary." This statement reflects their deep love for their fans.

Meanwhile, Apink member Yoon Bomi is set to marry composer and producer Rado (real name Song Jooyoung), who is nine years her senior, in May. The couple has been dating for nine years since 2017. Through this album and concert, Apink plans to strengthen communication with their fans and continue exploring new musical endeavors.
