Lee Je-hoon has reclaimed the top spot in drama cast popularity. On the morning of the 6th, FUNdex by Good Data Corporation announced that Lee Je-hoon ranked first in the integrated TV-OTT drama cast popularity category for the first week of January 2026. Lee Je-hoon plays the lead role of Kim Do-gi in SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3."
Since its first broadcast last November, "Taxi Driver 3" has received great responses from viewers by delivering satisfying punishments to villains appearing in each episode. In particular, the episodes aired on January 3rd and 4th, featuring the punishment of villain Kim Sung-kyu (played by Go Writer), became a hot topic. As a result, Lee Je-hoon reclaimed the number one spot, which he had lost to Lee Junho of "Cashier" in the fourth week of December last year in the integrated TV-OTT drama cast popularity category.
Lee Je-hoon also ranked first in the drama cast popularity category in the third week of December last year. "Taxi Driver 3," where his performance stands out, also ranked first in the integrated TV-OTT drama popularity category. This reclaimed the top position from the Netflix series "Cashier." "Taxi Driver 3" is scheduled for its season 3 finale on the 10th, proving its continued popularity by reclaiming the top spot in both cast and drama categories.
Following Lee Je-hoon in the first week of January's integrated TV-OTT drama cast popularity category, Hyun Bin, the lead of Disney+'s "Made in Korea," took second place. Third place went to Ji Sung, the lead of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Judge Lee Han-young." Fourth place was Jung Kyung-ho of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama "Pro Bono," and fifth place was Lee Junho of "Cashier." Sixth place was won by Won Ji-an, the female lead of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "Waiting for Gyeongdo."
Additionally, Nam Ji-hyun, the lead of KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday miniseries "Beloved Thief," which premiered on January 3rd, ranked seventh. Following her, Jung Woo-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong of "Made in Korea" ranked eighth and ninth, respectively. Tenth place went to Park Seo-joon of "Waiting for Gyeongdo."
In the integrated TV-OTT drama popularity category, "Made in Korea" ranked second following "Taxi Driver 3." "Waiting for Gyeongdo" ranked third, "Cashier" fourth, "Judge Lee Han-young" fifth, "Pro Bono" sixth, and "Beloved Thief" seventh. JTBC's Friday series "Love Me" ranked eighth, tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama "Annoying Love" ninth, and KBS 2TV's weekend drama "Splendid Days" ranked tenth.
These results indicate that the popularity of drama casts and programs continues to be high. Lee Je-hoon's "Taxi Driver 3" leaves a strong impression on viewers and is expected to receive high interest in future broadcasts. The drama industry analyzes that this popularity will have a positive impact on future viewership ratings.
