The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "I'm a Human From Today," which deals with the romance between a nine-tailed fox and a human, will premiere on the 16th. The drama centers on the chaotic story of MZ nine-tailed fox Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon) and human Kang Si-yeol (played by Lomon). On the 7th, the production team released the main poster, emphasizing the chemistry between the two leads.
"I'm a Human From Today" depicts a fantasy romance between a nine-tailed fox who refuses to become human and a human with excessive self-love. The drama contains a cheerful story that crosses between reality and imagination, and the meeting of Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon is highly anticipated. According to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex survey, the drama entered the top 10 in the TV drama category for two consecutive weeks in the fourth week of December and the first week of January, recording high buzz even before airing.
The released main poster features Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol as if they have jumped out of an oriental painting. Eun-ho is a character who has lived as a nine-tailed fox for about 900 years and has an appearance similar to modern MZ youth. The poster includes the phrase, "With this looks! This charm! It's natural for you to fall for me. As you know, I'm a nine-tailed fox," highlighting Eun-ho's appeal.
Kim Hye-yoon takes on the role of Eun-ho, continuing the lineage of K-nine-tailed foxes. She said, "When I read the script, the character of the 'MZ nine-tailed fox' felt attractive, and I thought I could show many new sides." Regarding Lomon, she added, "We have many acquaintances in common, so it felt familiar as if we already knew each other. He is a very kind, upright, and passionate actor."
Lomon challenges himself with a romantic comedy role as world-class soccer player Kang Si-yeol. He explained, "On the surface, Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol seem strong, but they keep bickering and, at some point, gradually blend into each other, filling each other's loneliness and wounds." He expressed gratitude toward his co-star, saying, "Our chemistry seemed to be naturally created on set."
"I'm a Human From Today," the follow-up to "Taxi Driver 3," will premiere at 9:50 PM on the 16th. The drama is a fantasy romance genre and is expected to offer viewers a new nine-tailed fox universe.
