Webtoon artist and entertainer Kian84 shared candid, practical advice with Nepali youth Tamang, offering heartfelt support that reflects a bond grown beyond television. What began on a variety show has evolved into a genuine older brother–younger brother relationship.
On July 7, Kian84’s YouTube channel Life84 released a video titled With Tamang. Tamang first met Kian84 through MBC’s Adventure by Accident 4 (Nepal episode), and the two have stayed in touch since the show ended.
In the video, Kian84 asks about Tamang’s recent life. Hearing that Koreans recognize Tamang even in Nepal, Kian84 responds with realism rather than simple excitement. “If your memories of Korea are only good ones, working there later can feel even tougher,” he said.
He didn’t sugarcoat life in Korea, adding, “Not everyone will be kind,” and emphasized setting clear goals and preparing efficiently—especially with language study. “If it drags on beyond two years, it’s easy to lose momentum,” he advised.
Referring to Tamang’s experience as a Sherpa, Kian84 called it “one of the toughest jobs in the world,” expressing confidence that such resilience would help Tamang succeed in any field.
To close, Kian84 offered a simple but pointed warning: “Be careful with alcohol and gambling. If you avoid those, you’re already halfway there.” The unembellished advice carried genuine concern.
