Doyoung and Seungkwan of the group Seventeen are releasing their winter-themed mini album "Soya-gok." Pledis Entertainment revealed a highlight medley on January 8 through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and Seventeen's official SNS. The album's title, "A Love Song Sung at Night," features a video capturing the cityscape after sunset and includes parts of all the new tracks.

The title track "Blue" expresses the moment when the depth and pace of emotions gradually fall out of sync through a poignant harmony. The simple piano and splendid orchestral performance blend with Doyoung and Seungkwan's compelling vocals to showcase the essence of a winter ballad. The song "Love with Different Strides," which carries the theme of "love with different strides," effectively conveys the temperature difference of emotions through two rooms.

Doyoung's solo track "Rockstar (DK Solo)" is a refreshing song with retro synth sounds and lively guitar lines that create a positive atmosphere. Seungkwan completed his solo track "Dream Serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo)" with delicate emotions and deep resonance. This song delivers a rich echo through spatial vocals and refined instrumental arrangements. Both participated in writing and composing their solo songs, revealing their maturity as artists.

The track "Guilty Pleasure" captivates with its enchanting atmosphere. Its sophisticated sound and polished lyrics emit a charm distinct from "Blue." "Silence" is a pop ballad that sings about the emptiness after a breakup, leaving a dramatic impression with layered instruments and escalating emotional expression. The video starts in the open heart of the city and moves through a phone booth, building entrance, interior stairs, and an empty living room, finally reaching rooms with different tones. Spaces transition naturally according to the songs, offering a feeling of gradually delving deeper into the inner worlds of Doyoung and Seungkwan.

Doyoung and Seungkwan will release "Soya-gok" on January 12 at 6 p.m. and will premiere the stage for "Blue" on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 15th. Various other content will also be shared with fans. On January 9, the web variety show "Cellphone KODE," featuring Doyoung, will air. Additionally, the second episode of "GOING DxS SPECIAL: Villains BBOODO," highlighting the charms of the two members, will be released on January 14.
