Heo Chan-mi delivered an outstanding performance in the first round of the genre-based team battle mission in the finals of 'Miss Trot 4.' On the January 8th broadcast of TV CHOSUN's program, the Active Duty X team performed Nam Jin's "If I Had a Lover" accompanied by a marching drum performance. This team consisted of Heo Chan-mi, Yoon Tae-hwa, Chae Yoon, Kang Bo-kyung, Kim Hee-jin, and Makoto.

Active Duty X took the stage wearing outfits reminiscent of the former group After School and showcased excellent vocal skills along with the drum performance. In particular, Heo Chan-mi's solo performance, which lasted about one minute, left a strong impression. Jang Min-ho, who watched the stage, expressed admiration, saying, "Heo Chan-mi really put her all into it." Boom praised her by saying, "She's an audition viper," highly appreciating Heo Chan-mi's skills.

Kim Geum-hee, Heo Chan-mi's mother and a former contestant in the veteran division, shed tears while watching the stage from the waiting room. Monica commented, "The performance prepared by the six members of Active Duty X was more difficult than expected. I was really surprised. During the drum solo part, it seemed like she was possessed." When Joo Young-hoon pointed out, "Sorry, but she's a pastor's daughter," Monica corrected herself, saying, "It felt like the Holy Spirit came down," which brought laughter.

Jang Yoon-jung evaluated, "Active Duty X burned their souls with six members. Their vocal skills did not falter. I was worried that the singing might not keep up after such a perfect performance before the song, but that worry was completely unfounded. Heo Chan-mi played the drums for such a long time and endured an unbelievable feat." Heo Chan-mi revealed with tears, "The longer I played, the more I felt we could win."

Jang Yoon-jung praised further, "And then she immediately started the next song herself. I think she accomplished something amazing. I believe Heo Chan-mi will be one of the top finalists today. By the end of this competition, I am confident she will be in the TOP 5." Active Duty X won a landslide victory with a master score of 14 to 3. Heo Chan-mi shared her thoughts, saying, "We practiced without sleep. I sincerely feel rewarded for that. It was an honor to share the stage with the veteran seniors who were our competitors."
