The group EXO will announce their first comeback of 2026 by releasing their 8th full-length album, "REVERXE," on January 19 at 6 PM (KST). The album title "REVERXE" is a modified spelling of "reverse," conveying a message of new transitions and challenges.
This new release will showcase EXO's powerful performance and diverse musical colors, including the title track "Crown," a hard dance genre song that combines Atlanta trap drums, heavy metal guitar, and EDM synths. Through this song, EXO plans to deliver a strong and confident message about the leader's resilience in bearing the "weight of the crown."
Ahead of the comeback, EXO released teaser images with a mysterious atmosphere on their official SNS accounts. The members, dressed in long black coats, are seen standing side by side in a desolate landscape where mountains and clouds blend, or gathered around withered trees, heightening fans' curiosity and anticipation.
Having hinted at full-group activities through various performances and fan meetings at the end of last year and early this year, EXO is set to meet fans with a highly polished group stage after a long time. This comeback is receiving great attention among K-pop fans as it is the first full-length album released after the members' solo and unit activities.
Meanwhile, EXO plans to actively communicate with fans throughout 2026 under the team slogan "WE ARE ONE" through new album promotions and various projects. "REVERXE," which will be released on the 19th, is currently available for pre-order on major music platforms worldwide, drawing attention to the musical spectrum and performances the album will present.
