Pop star Bruno Mars will release his fourth studio album, The Romantic, on February 27. This marks his first solo project in about 10 years since his third album, 24K Magic, released in 2016. The record label Warner Music Korea officially announced this on the 8th.
Bruno Mars formed Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak in 2021 and released an album. On the 6th, he posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, "My album is complete," announcing the solo album. Additionally, one of the tracks will be pre-released as a new single on the 9th.
This album is based on Bruno Mars' recent global chart achievements. He won a Grammy Award for "Die With A Smile," a collaboration with Lady Gaga, and set a record for the fastest time to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history. The song held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for 18 consecutive weeks.
Furthermore, Bruno Mars collaborated with Black Pink member Rosé on the song "APT.," which was named the most streamed song worldwide in 2025 by Apple Music. The track topped the Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) chart for 19 weeks and the Global 200 chart for 12 consecutive weeks. "APT." won "Song of the Year" at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and is nominated in three categories at the 68th Grammy Awards: "Song of the Year," "Record of the Year," and "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance."
Bruno Mars is an influential singer-songwriter and producer with 16 Grammy Awards, and nine of his songs have reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. He is the first artist in Spotify history to surpass 150 million monthly listeners. In October 2022, he became the first artist in RIAA history to have six diamond-certified singles, and as of now, he has at least seven diamond certifications.
Additional news related to Bruno Mars' new album release will be announced sequentially in the future. His comeback is highly anticipated by fans and music industry insiders alike.
