The group Enhypen (ENHYPEN) formed a "creative dream team" ahead of the release of their 7th mini-album, 'THE SIN : VANISH.' This team, composed of experts in music, fashion, photography, and video, enhanced the artistic completeness of the album. Enhypen recently released a series of four chapter videos that hint at the story of the 7th mini-album. Each chapter is divided into 'No Way Back,' 'Big Girls Don't Cry,' 'Stealer,' and 'Knife,' symbolizing hiding in an abandoned cave, the romance of escape across the deserts of Los Angeles, a chase in Florence, Italy, and the determination to face a crisis, respectively.
These videos serve as a kind of trailer, stimulating the audience's curiosity with spectacular production and overwhelming scale. The seven members of Enhypen, portrayed as vampires, showcased unique visuals, with parts of the tracks inserted into the videos, drawing global music fans into the experience. This intricate narrative was completed through the planning power of HYBE Music Group's label Belift Lab and collaboration with world-class creators.
Designer Jiyong Kim participated in the 'No Way Back' chapter, visualizing the vampires' desperation in a trendy wanderer style using the Sun Bleach technique, which utilizes fading marks left by natural elements like sunlight, wind, and rain on fabric. Eli Russell Linnetz was responsible for custom costume production, styling, and photography for the 'Big Girls Don't Cry' chapter. He contributed to maximizing the free-spirited atmosphere felt by the escaping lovers.
The final chapter video, 'Knife,' was directed by BRTHR. He sensually expressed the vampires' bold selves through intense and vivid colors and digital mood production. Still photography was handled by photographer Jack Bridgland, who captured Enhypen's raw energy with a unique perspective based on his experience collaborating with Hollywood actors.
Enhypen's 7th mini-album 'THE SIN : VANISH' will be released on January 16 at 2 PM. This album is a concept album where all tracks, lyrics, and sounds are intricately connected, showcasing Enhypen's true value as immersive storytellers.
