Episode 133 of JTBC's variety show "The Strongest Baseball," airing on January 12, will feature the Breakers preparing for the first match of the Strongest Series, their first live game.
Breakers' captain Kim Tae-kyun said, "Playing a game with fans present feels completely different," expressing his nervousness and excitement about the first live game. He added, "It's been a while since I watched a game live, so I'm excited." Many Breakers players retired during the period of no-audience games due to COVID-19, so it has been a long time since they played in front of fans.
In particular, Lee Dae-hyung, who will play in front of fans for the first time in six years, confessed, "I couldn't sleep. It's subtly stressful," revealing his nervousness. Pitcher Yoon Seok-min expressed his determination by saying, "I want to show a good performance." Lee Hak-joo raised expectations for the game by saying, "Seeing the fans in the stands feels like I've taken a health tonic."
The Breakers will introduce a new fighting chant for the finals. To the chant "Breakers Hou!", they stretch one hand toward the sky and jump, showing off the team's spirit. When the players shout "Breakers Hou! Hou!" together and perform their cute jumps, manager Lee Jong-beom reportedly relaxed his tension and burst into laughter.
Episode 133 of "The Strongest Baseball" will air on January 12 at 10:30 PM. The Breakers' first live game is expected to strengthen communication with fans and boost the team's morale.
